The CORE

What are we testing? REQUIREMENTS.
We can talk for hours about what they are (holds some value to some person at a certain point in time etc),... but in the CORE ; requirements and software testing is all about THÍS:

# Rules are there to be broken Rules are there to be followed
Pros Cons Pros Cons
1 Encourages creativity and innovation Can lead to chaos and unpredictability Ensures stability and order May suppress creativity
2 Challenges outdated systems Risks disrespecting traditions or values Builds trust and reliability Can preserve outdated structures
3 Promotes individual freedom May undermine collective safety Provides safety and protection Limits individual freedom
4 Sparks progress and change Can be seen as arrogance or rebellion Simplifies decision-making Can promote blind obedience
5 Breakthroughs often come from rule-breaking Not everyone is skilled enough to judge when to break Keeps groups aligned and efficient Might block necessary change
6 Prevents blind conformity Might cause legal or ethical trouble Reduces conflict and ambiguity May slow down innovation
7 Encourages critical thinking Can confuse or mislead others Respects traditions and culture Risks stagnation or irrelevance
8 Inspires courage and bold action Sometimes wastes energy on conflict Provides a fair and equal framework May ignore unique circumstances
9 Creates unique identity May isolate the individual from groups Creates predictability Can lead to boredom or apathy
10 Opens the door to new possibilities Can harm trust if done recklessly Protects against reckless behavior May discourage bold action
2 examples:
an input field, the maximum value is 100... be creative, try 101
a AVG/GDPR rule... try to... validate it... don't cause legal trouble
